FUN DAY: We meet once a month; usually
on 2nd Saturdays (that's a day where a designated mom decides where we will meet with our kids for a particular activity.
This could be an actual field trip to museum; arts festival; picnic in the park; funland; zoo, playdate at one of our homes;
whatever the mother wishes for our kids to do)
MOMS NIGHT OUT: We meet once a
month; on 4th Saturdays usually -- (again, this is where a mom decides where us MOMS ONLY, no kids; will go to relax.
This could be a dinner and a movie; shopping trip; visit to spa together; potluck at one of our homes; theatre; coffee house, etc...again
whatever the designated mom for the month chooses to do)
ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION: The moms gather together once a month (every third Thursday) to discuss the topic du
jour. Topics are usually submitted in advance to make sure they are discussed first, but other than that we discuss
whatever we want.
COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER: Our
moms supports monthly ongoing reading sessions for kids in a local homelessness facility.
